SSFF 2017 is held in the Capitol Theatre building. Fondly known to many as The Grande Dame, Capitol Theatre provides an inspirational platform to capture the imagination and move audiences. The historic Capitol Theatre, the epicentre of creativity, is where the arts and society meet. With approximately 800 seats, built for red carpet movie premieres, first run screenings and MICE events, the theatre hosts in-house theatre, film and dance productions, featuring a spotlight on local, and Asian repertoire.

The Singapore Short Film Festival is Singapores leading international short film festival. We work to connect Singaporeans with the best short films from here and around the world; celebrate excellence in short film making; and foster the Singapore short film community. Each year our experienced team of short film lovers curate a selection of the best short films from Singapore and around the world.
We serve them up at Capitol Theatre 10 - 12th September.

These stories offer us the chance to escape into new worlds, learn more about ourselves and connect
with others. The programme covers a diverse range of themes and subjects, including horror, drama, animation, comedy and everything in between. The Singapore Short Film Festival aims to put
Singapore on the world wide map with its excellent short film community.
